2/21/08 - A reporter from a prominent U.S. Magazine is doing a story on unassisted birth and would like to interview someone in the Northeast or Mid-Atlantic who recently gave birth (within 6 months; planned, unassisted) or is currently pregnant and planning an unassisted homebirth. The reporter is particularly interested in a couple whose first or second child was / is going to be an unassisted birth.
Reporter's guidelines:
1. Couple should live in northeast, possibly mid-Atlantic or a little south.
2. UC should be the 1st or 2nd baby.
3. Baby should by up to 6 months old or expectant mom close to giving birth.
4. Reporter does not want a midwife, doula, childbirth educator, but would prefer to portray a "regular" mom.
The magazine's desire is to visit in person, interview and take photos.
